Tacos, Hot Rods & Pirate Ships: Drawing 250 Karts
We took kids drawings & turned them into game art. We collaborated with local communities to create unique illustrations to represent their cities, towns, & states. Western New England wants a vintage asparagus truck. Iowa wants a butter cow sculpture kart. What the heck is a butter cow?
Join Chris Bishop, Senior Creative Director, PBS KIDS Digital, & take a fun peek into the design process of creating unique illustrations for a virtual world in which every child imagines their very own kart. What does the brainstorm process look like? What challenges does this pose?
The audience will then be given the opportunity to come up with a new kart idea for the game & Chris will draw it live.
