You Are Here: 3 Little Words To Address the World
What if you could improve the lives of 75% of the world's population with three simple words?
An unbelievable three quarters of the world doesn't have a reliable address. This means that 4bn people are invisible, unable to report crime, get deliveries or receive aid. what3words is an award-winning addressing system designed to combat this problem. It consists of a global grid of 57 trillion 3mx3m squares, each with a 3 word address. Everyone in the world is now covered.
We're going to be discussing the thinking behind what3words, and together with our audience, hacking new ways to apply the system everywhere from the Glastonbury festival to sub-Saharan Africa.
