Has corporate social media jumped the snark? [sic]

A debate centered around the questions: "Has corporate America rejected social media? and is the dream over?"

Prominent analysts (like Shel Israel) posit that social media thought leaders are leaving the enterprise, and this is proof of the rejection of the social culture.

Other social media thought leaders working within the enterprise believe that's hogwash, and is a positive sign that the culture war was won, and the change agents are moving on to the next big thing.
