Crowdfinance of startups and business is rapidly gaining ground throughout the world and gays and lesbian business owners are taking advantage of new platforms to gain access to the capital they need too. Could 2016 be the year of "Gay Takeover" of businesses?
This talk, by two LGBT startup experts, will include the latest information on crowdfunded equity and P2P lending that are being used by LGBT, women and minority-led businesses to finance their startups and existing businesses.
It will include examples of businesses, in Austin and throughout the U.S., that are part of the "Gay Takeover".
