The Los Angeles tech scene has always lived in the shadows of San Francisco's Silicon Valley, but something's in the water as LA is coming into its own in the digital age.

LA's city government, VC community, and diverse business ecosystem (tech, entertainment, manufacturing, biotech, science & engineering) is drawing a large number of startups, as well as established companies like SpaceX, Tesla, YouTube, and Google.

We talk with local experts about what LA is doing to attract and retain top tech talent to the area.
