What do today's most disruptive technologies -- the Internet of Things, social media, mobile, wearables, commercial drones, cloud computing and big data -- have in common? This session explores the common link behind these seemingly disparate technologies, a link that closely ties these technologies together -- that link is the unending, ceaseless drive by businesses to collect, store and exploit customer data. In setting out the theory, this session will explore the business and legal consequences arising out of this grand unifying theory of today's tech trends.
