Saving Gotham: Transforming America's Cities

Billions of dollars are spent trying to improve the lives of low income people in American cities every year. What actually works? Who has to be involved for real change to happen? Living Cities funds and partners with innovative initiatives in dozens of cities across the country focused on civic tech, healthcare, workforce development, housing, etc. all in an effort to understand what drives real change. This session will be a no b.s. run down of what we see that works, what doesn't, and why. Learn about how business and tech can partner with the public sector to both benefit from and support change in places.
