The Disruption of Employment by Technology
Description:
According to Vivek Wadhwa, Within 2 decades, we will have almost unlimited energy, food, & clean water; advances in medicine will allow us to live longer & healthier lives; robots will drive our cars, manufacture our goods, and do our chores. These technology disruptions mean that there won’t be much work for human beings in existing fields.
Educational programs need to prepare for this brave new world. New systems need to be created to train students to always be learning.
