Tweetle Beetle: Student Driven Citizen Science
Students do amazing things when you provide a compelling challenge, empower them with a choice of tools and access to the real world, and get out of their way. Learn how students from an urban high school took on an invasive insect species. They became emerald ash borer experts and raised awareness in their school, community and government via social media. Learning that transcends the classroom changes lives. Learn the key components of this learning model and how to adapt it for your space.
