Learn to Robot, Robot to Learn

This interactive workshop will teach you how to get up and running on LEGO MINDSTORMS for your middle school classroom. This workshop will provide the basics on how to convert your classroom into a hands-on robotics laboratory. You will learn how to teach your students to model real-life mechanisms and use creativity, logic, and problem-solving skills while learning key STEM concepts. The trainer will go step by step to teach you how to build, program and teach your students the basics of building a robot. Tips and tricks for classroom management and how to align with the coming science standards will also be discussed.
