The Diversity Directive: Using Data to Achieve Equity


mid the repeal of affirmative action policies and the dissolution of corporate DEI groups, including in the tech industry, the threat of a predominately white tech workforce is looming. A recent survey found that 75% of Americans don't think companies have honored their promises made during the pandemic to increase diversity, including by hiring more women of color. After decades of experiencing the highest share of job losses and lowest income levels, and as the war for tech talent rages on, isn’t it about time women of color are given a chance to join and thrive in the tech industry?
