SXSW 2024
How Mobility Innovation Reshapes Non-Sustainable Industries
Description:
This session will explore the intersection of sustainability and mobility, highlighting how advancements in mobility technology, manufacturing practices and EV adoption can reduce the environmental impact of the automotive and manufacturing industries while ensuring sustainable economic growth. Automotive and manufacturing are two of the bigger contributors to greenhouse gas emissions (28% and 23% respectively, per the EPA), but Michigan has demonstrated how these historically non-sustainable industries can become more sustainable through the development of innovative mobility solutions.
