Tackling Anti-Black Racism in Music: Transatlantic Action

This panel brings together leaders from the UK, U.S. and Canada to discuss how their changemaking initiatives tackle anti-Black racism in music.

POWER UP and BLACK LIVES IN MUSIC support Black creators and execs in the UK, creating a fairer, more equitable music sector. Canada’s Black music business collective, ADVANCE unifies professionals across the Canadian industry. And JUKEJOINT FOUNDATION empowers women of color to restore balance in the U.S. music industry.

Speakers will discuss nuanced Black experiences and how we move the dial to ensure companies are going beyond solidarity.
