SXSW EDU 2024
How Learning Festivals Catalyze Innovation & Community
Description:
Join Remake Learning and WISE for an interactive workshop to design community learning festivals! Launched in Pittsburgh in 2016, and now international in scope, Remake Learning Days is an innovative learning festival for families and youth, with hundreds of hands-on events at libraries, schools, tech centers, play spaces, and more. The workshop builds off WISE and Remake Learning’s 2023 report on how learning festivals foster 21st century skills and build community. You’ll explore how to map out partners, increase collaboration, and create an action plan for your own community-led events.
