Mitigating the Future Funding Cliff: A Strategy Session
Description:
A future fiscal cliff looms large for our schools which can potentially exacerbate the already unprecedented declines in student performance, declining enrollment, and staffing shortages. Led by practitioners who navigated the School District of Philadelphia out of a $300M budget shortfall and are now in the throes of planning for the future funding cliff, this workshop will provide participants with tools and processes that will help them make more strategic and thoughtful choices about budgeting and resource allocation, including how to leverage external partnerships to address service gaps.
