SXSW EDU 2024
Developing Ecosystems: From Lifelong to Lifewide Learning
Description:
In recent years, communities around the world have rediscovered the collective potential of learning ecosystems and have taken steps to support and enhance their impact on young people. A learning ecosystem is a way of understanding learning as something that happens across a wide variety of times, places, and contexts. Faced with the wicked problems of today and unknowable complexities of tomorrow, it’s easy to see why the ecosystem concept has gained global attention. This session will explore research on ecosystems through the lens of 3 global examples: Doha, Qatar; Uruguay; Pittsburgh, PA.
