Description:
The teacher pipeline problem – both the dwindling number and the lack of diversity – has dire consequences for students’ short- and long-term success. Research tells us that diverse young people are interested in teaching but are not being cultivated. This panel will offer key insights into this paradox and explore one pipeline-building intervention that is engaging college students at a critical juncture in their career exploration and expanding access to the teaching profession.
