Discovering Web3/NFT Platforms as a Music Creative
Description:
The concept for this session is to inform music creatives & technologists on the vast array of platforms & innovations that are emerging for tokenized, Web3-enabled music experiences & ecosystems, in order to better equip them with the knowledge & resources they need to navigate this next generation of Music that is empowered by NFTs & Blockchain technologies.
It will be a practical introduction to blockchain tech as it pertains to Music, as well as an overview of a selection of applications, platforms, marketplaces, resources & people that contribute to the development of Music in the Web3 space.
I will also speak on my experiences as an independent music artist exploring Music NFTs & of my efforts to empower my independence using both Web2 & Web3 technologies.
