The global pandemic opened a doorway to the future, pushing us to explore new opportunities to connect through virtual worlds. But we’ve yet to fathom the complex psychology of avatar representation and how they transform our online and offline behavior. Examining this issue from multiple perspectives in working with universities, NGOs, and workforce training, we’ll examine avatar aggression, passivity, and the Proteus Effect on offline behavior to explore our future lives as virtual beings.
