SXSW 2022
The Need for Human Contact in The Metaverse
Description:
Virtual worlds take the real-world experience to the next level by tapping into multiple senses; incorporating physical surroundings, while satisfying our urge to move from one platform to the next and digest fast-moving multimedia content. It doesn’t matter where we are in the physical world, because we can meet and interact in an entirely new surrounding: the metaverse. The concept of living in a virtual world started in gaming and is on its way to becoming mainstream. And the possibilities of enabling creators and audiences to connect in the metaverse are hugely exciting.
This session will explore the opportunities to unleash this new realm and pave new pathways for brands, organizations and mass event organizers to take experiences to the next level.
