Weed in America: Predictions Post-Legalization
Description:
In 2050, the U.S. national cannabis market will be 20+ years old. As an established cash crop, cannabis will be integrated into the fiber of our economy and society. In this session, leaders and policy makers will predict how cannabis will impact our careers, our wellness and our communities. We’ll delve into questions like how policing will change as a result of legalization, whether a long-term legal market will squash illicit sales and what reparations our country is willing to make for the War on Drugs era. How will history remember the era of prohibition when it's finally in the rearview mirror? Relying on historical data, predictive modeling and instinct we’ll outline the future of cannabis and how changed policy will affect individuals, communities and questions of social justice.
