SXSW 2022
Will we still have sex in the future?
Description:
VISIONGRAPH, a Tokyo-based futuristic design firm, released a report that suggests the coming of Masturbation Singularity: a speculative scenario in which we no longer have sex with real humans. What roles will SexTech play in our future sex life? And ultimately, will we still have "sex" in the future?
In this session, panelists from different cultural and research backgrounds will discuss the future of intimacy & relationships and the implication of SexTech on our sex life, while also exploring how the changes in perception of sex/masturbation have taken different paths across cultures.
