SXSW 2021
The History and Future of Women in Music
Amethyst Collab is home of the music industry’s first all-women panel series. We have hosted some of the most well-attended virtual panels during the COVID 19 pandemic featuring women from several segments of music business such as A&R, Management, PR, Music Tech, and Journalism. We gained respect and notoriety due to the stature of our panelists.
Women in Amethyst panels have come from every major label and management company, as well as some of the industry’s most well-respected independent female artist managers and publicists. An exhaustive list of panelists can be found on our website.
For this panel, I would like to assemble 4 female executives in the music industry to examine the history, present, and future of women in music business.
