Let's Get Real: Challenging Racism
The history and persistence of anti-black racism is the central issue of our time. To eradicate racism and achieve racial equity, people, policies, and systems must change. Transformational leaders can empower a new legacy based on the history and persistence of resistance and resiliency. We begin with a communications model that affirms relationships, increases trust, and enhances collaboration. Through equitable conversations, this interactive session explores how the power dynamics of racial identity disempowers or entitles an individual's lived experience. We introduce a communication method that disrupts that dynamic. This conversation is about healing racism and creating a better future for the next generation.
