I’m Not a STEM Person, I Am a STEAM Storyteller
Description:
STEAM storytelling for authentic audiences of local and national public media outlets engages teens who haven’t excelled in traditional science or math classes. In this session, student reporters will share quick tips and unique strategies to be be better science communicators through practices such as story development, evaluating evidence and statistics, investigating how science works in public policy and how STEAM relates to our daily lives.
