Esports is one of the fastest-growing forms of digital entertainment but it has yet to grow into a mature industry and few stakeholders are seeing any real monetary returns. This panel features a diverse group of executives with backgrounds in both esports and media, including HBO and Twitch, in a discussion around new and future business models within esports. Drawing on lessons from traditional media, video-on-demand and streaming services they will explore the viability of subscriptions and other platform business models.
