Description:
As legalization of adult use cannabis picks up across the country, it is vital to recognize that this a crucial historical moment, with a powerful opportunity to leverage an emerging industry for social impact & community healing. We will address specific strategies and solutions for creating socially responsible policies and practices that recognize and create value for all stakeholders in the emerging cannabis industry. Topics will include pay equity and transparency, sustainable production practices, as well as how cannabis licensing & regulatory systems can provide inclusion & opportunity for communities of color, & those that have been most impacted by the failed war on drugs. This panel will represent a breathe of experience in how to turn these ideals & goals into SOPs and actions.
