Data X Design for Good
Data for Good ATX has been working to bridge corporate resources and skilled volunteers with local causes using data-informed, human-centered approaches. We recently launched our Data for Good Day at Galvanize on June 23rd, where we brought together a diverse panel speakers from government, business, non-profit, academia; held non-profit pitches, and led brainstorming breakouts using Measure Austin's CARE model.
Our current on-going project is working to provide time-boxed, project-based volunteer opportunities for alumni of the Galvanize bootcamps that provide a more meaningful experience and effective outcomes for both the nonprofit and volunteer.
As we progress, we are increasingly partnering with designers for help with the design of the programming and processes.
