Up in Smoke: Marketing Weed on Ban-Happy Social

In the ever-changing world of social media marketing - platforms changing, algorithms, etc. social media marketers have to be on their toes more than ever. For cannabis business marketers, however, that’s not the only challenge. Vague and arbitrary enforcement in the cannabis space can make marketing on social media a daily battle for marketers and business owners.

We’ll look into the rules of engagement on social media, how to prevent yourself from getting banned and how cannabis has changed social media itself -- though the social media titans are tough on cannabis, it’s undeniable that cannabis communities are inherently social and transforming social media itself despite the limitations it faces from strict platforms.
