Stressed? Try Mindfulness for Early Educators

Description:

When we work with young children, how we are is as important as what we do. Our wellbeing and own self-regulation impact our ability to nurture children, and effectively model and teach social emotional learning. Yet how can we stay calm and attuned when we are feeling strong emotions too? Early childhood professionals are using mindfulness to reduce stress and support their work with children and families. This session offers practice with 3 classroom-friendly, mindfulness-based strategies.
