SXSW 2020
How NOT to Re-Innovate the Wheel
Description:
R&D is expensive and time consuming. “How much of each should we invest?” “Where do I look for tech that already exists?” “Can I rely on someone else’s product to see my idea become reality faster?” This discussion brings in some Army Futures Command decision makers and pairs them with startups battling the same problems on a smaller, albeit potentially riskier, scale -- illustrating that we share a lot of similar obstacles in our decision making.
