Companies have never been more geographically distributed, with offices, teams, partners, & clients spread across the country and globe.
Yet, leaders aren’t equipped with the skills to lead geographically distributed teams, or to work with clients that aren’t co-located. Old-school, in-person management techniques no longer work. I experienced this first-hand as one of the first fully remote marketers for The Clorox Company.
