SXSW 2020
The Optimist's Guide To The Climate Crisis
Climate crisis headlines and stories evoke confusion leading to limited (or no action) and empty hope (or hopelessness). This interactive presentation will deliver clarity and help you decide what climate actions to take thereby showing you how to do more than hope.
This event will NOT be:
~ 90% data & graphs explaining that we screwed up big time (we did);
~ 5% what can we do now; and
~ 5% on how to obtain free Xanax to manage climate crisis anxiety.
We will focus on empowerment, i.e., what the audience can do now on both individual and collective levels to address the climate crisis based on the best available science on climate solutions.
