SXSW EDU 2020
Tenure 2.0: The Social Media Edition for Educators
Description:
While the media has focused on celebrity and micro-influencers, there has been little focus on how higher education audiences can become their own influencers through personal branding strategies. This session will discuss how educators can develop a personal brand, integrate influencer practices in and out of the classroom, and create a robust portfolio that will help them build strong industry partnerships and collaborations to help them in their research, professional and teaching practices.
