Propaganda is not an idea relegated to the 1940s and WW2 - it simply exists in new ways in 2020. We are living in an era of weaponized social media, fake news, and disinformation. But, a majority of Americans are unaware of the mechanisms used to influence and persuade.

In this session, “unapologetic marketing truth-teller” Katie Martell will expose the tools and tricks of modern persuasion and influence.

As peace activist Yuri Kochiyama once said, "consciousness is power." Our best chance for fighting propaganda is to understand it - before it's too late.
