SXSW 2019

Energy, Food, Water, Waste - The City of Tomorrow

Description:

The success of urban living and city development is determined by whether we can solve the fundamental issues around food and water, waste and energy. Where will these resources come from? How can we secure just and affordable distribution and production? How can we measure the complex interactions of these issues? What technologies do we have to find out where exactly the problems are and how can we solve them most effectively? This session will discuss some modelling strategies and technologies as well as highlight some strategies for solutions. The panel will feature speakers from Germany as well as the US.
