Passion and potential—Motivational Values at Work

In today’s world of “purpose-driven work,” how do we help students find the drive that will both help them achieve in the classroom and build successful work lives? And how do we find, stay connected to, or rediscover the motivation that fuels our work? In this workshop, explore your own motivational values, and learn how both to infuse them into your day-to-day efforts, and help your students find more incentive and satisfaction in their work and future plans.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand motivational values and how they drive our behavior, goal-setting, achievement and work
  2. Identify your own motivational values and build strategies to use them to increase your productivity, success and satisfaction at work
  3. Build tools to work with students around their motivational values; leave with practical steps for how to implement in your classroom or organization
