Theatre in the Round: Immersive Storytelling In VR

Martin Scorsese said “cinema is a matter of what's in the frame and what's out”, but can that philosophy translate to 360-video? Creators now have the ability to use VR and 360-video to tell stories in ways never done before, allowing us to literally step into different worlds captured and produced with these new technologies. This session explores the challenges and possibilities of creating for VR and 360-video today, and where immersive storytelling will take us in the not-so-distant future.
