Balancing Student Privacy and Student Safety

Student safety and student privacy can seem at odds with each other when considering digital tools, but a balance must be struck to ensure our students have access to 21st Century tools and the world they can open up. How do schools maintain the privacy of students while protecting individuals from cyberbullying, sexting, online predators and other malicious uses that can affect their future? Offer ideas and discuss tools, legislation, and steps to protect our students online.
