Future Workforces & Skills for Smart Cities

This meet up aims to identify innovative and/or proven solutions to reestablishing the social contract through equipping individuals with the education, skills, and supports to advance in the labor market, earn self-/family-sufficiency income, plan for the future, and contribute to economic and societal well-being. Included in this discussion of solutions will be those that apply to employer and infrastructure responsibilities for reestablishing the social contract.

Learning Objectives

  1. Surface innovative and/or proven solutions to equipping individuals with education and skills needed to succeed.
  2. Engage in cross-pollination of best practices re: workforce education and training drawn from Austin and sister city, Adelaide, Aus., and elsewhere
