Power Up: STEAM Through Video Game Design

In this B.Y.O.D. (bring your own device) workshop, you'll work in small groups to deconstruct an existing video game to examine graphics, programming, sound, & storyline elements. To promote STEAM thinking, learn to apply basic programming logic to “remix” an existing Scratch video game with features such as character narratives & simple math equations. Participants will need to bring their own device running Windows, ChromeOS, Mac, or Linux with web browser running Adobe Flash player.
