STEM: More than Pi in the Sky

The shortage of students entering the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields is well documented. Can celebrating tech holidays, such as Pi Day, make STEM fields more approachable and exciting to fresh graduates? Governments, companies, non-profits are competing for the same limited resource: technical employees. In this panel, speakers from private and public entities will discuss the moving the needle in growing more technical talent.

Learning Objectives

  1. How can companies more effectively market STEM careers to students?
  2. What can we do to move the needle in growing more technical talent?
  3. How can we make technical fields more approachable for employees who already have a non-technical career?
