Not Your Grandpa's Shop: Reimagining Makerspaces

Makerspace (n.): a space for people to create, invent and learn. We hear a lot about makerspaces - the importance of 21st century skills, fostering creativity and innovation - but to many schools, creating a makerspace is daunting. What kind of space is right for our school? Where do we find the budget or time? How do we get students excited about using it? Join us to learn from educators and designers who built makerspaces (physical and virtual) to inspire students to create, invent and learn.
