U.S. Immigration Options for Film Professionals

An artist's work is never limited by boundaries, but legal realities would beg to differ. Among other legal concerns, professional artists who work internationally must consider their immigration status in countries where they plan to work. This workshop seeks to review the immigration process for film industry professionals from abroad who wish to work in the U.S. This workshop is applicable to many film industry professionals, particularly those involved in the creative process as well as individuals who have experienced some success abroad, be it large or small, and are looking to pursue a U.S.-based career. The workshop will review the visa process and timeline, necessary documentation, expenses, what to expect/benefits, risks involved in foregoing the visa process, and more.
