SXSW 2021

What Virtual Communities Teach Us About Humanity

Description:

2020 has been a year of forced isolation for many. Without the prospect of seeing friends and colleagues and traveling around the world, depression sunk in for many. Swapcard's moderator, Matthew, will be interviewing two clients with the year's most successful stories of taking their events virtual and building communities online. Both organizers have experienced the power of technology in bringing people together when they're miles apart. They will discuss their strategies and lessons learned, as well as their vision for the future of the events industry and technology's central role in fostering 365 communities. Audience questions are encouraged and will be answered live.
