Bring your notebooks for this trip behind the curtain of independent filmmaking. The team from Vanishing Angle will tackle how to get your film made and how to get it seen. From crowd equity and alternative funding strategies to marketing and creative self-distribution, they will share practical, actionable tips for different stages of a film's life-cycle. This panel will touch both on the creative and business parts of creating a film. Using case studies of their previous films the team will share blue prints of how their films were made and released, as well as some of the lessons learned over the last decade as independent film has changed. Sharing insights on new opportunities for filmmakers and how to not just navigate but capitalize on the ever-shifting landscape.
