Description In 1987, Walt Disney’s Imagineering President, Marty Sklar, presented "Mickey's 10 Commandments." These commandments come from a combination of his work with Walt Disney and 30 years experience designing the Disney theme parks The commandments are an excellent set of guidelines for user experience professionals, whether they deal with an amusement park, or an interactive product. In this session we'll look at the commandments, and how they apply to interaction design; we'll also analyze the a few examples that benefit from these principles, and the shortcomings of others that do not.
