The Second Edition of WordPress For Dummies is due to be released in November 2008 - I'm really excited about this edition because of the in-depth coverage it contains on WordPress themes and design! I'm excited about the prospect of speaking at SXSW on the topic of WordPress themes, particularly the ever-popular Magazine themes, to help clear up the mystery surrounding how it all happens on the back end. Thanks so much for your consideration!

I would highly recommend having Lisa speak at the conference. Not only does she present great material, her passion for WordPress and helping bloggers is unbelievable. My interactions with her have been nothing but positive, and think that she'd be a great asset to SXSW!

I had the opportunity to meet Lisa personally and I highly recommend having her speak at the SXSW conference this year. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and her passion for helping people goes above and beyond anyone I've known when it comes to WordPress, Bloggers, and the general online community. She definitely has my vote and as Brian (above) said, she'd be a great asset to SXSW!

I also forgot to add in my comment above, I am making this vote on behalf of ServerBeach - the company that I work for who attends SXSW and represents.

Brian & Charnell - thanks so much! I'm excited about this panel. From what I can see in the rest of the proposed panels, this is the only one representing WordPress - - and we definitley want WordPress represented at SXSW :)

I'm in Ireland and probably unable to attend, but I believe that Lisa's knowledge and delivery are second to none when it comes to WordPress and Blogging.

Go Lisa, it's your birthday!

Ok, it's not your birthday. But they should pick your panel anyway. I know I'd attend. :)

I solely use Wordpress so this panel would be invaluable to me, and if it's as informative as Sabin-Wilson's book, would be a panel I'd put at the top of my list.
