Digitopia, a platform for collaborative music creation at Casa da Musica, Oporto's main concert venue, adress how these trends can affect generalized music creation and music software design, promote social inclusion, and lead to the emergence of multicultural communities of music makers/lovers. That is a very interesting idea for social inclusion and collaborative music creation. I would go to SXSW just for that!
