Panel Picker voting closed at 11:59 pm CST on Friday, September 21. Although the voting mechanism has been disabled, the interface is still fully functional for browsing the submissions and reading the comments. - The building blocks for portable social networks already exist. OpenID, microformats and Oauth let us build open, user controlled networks. We'll talk about why this is good for users, how to actually put these building blocks in place and why portable social networks will ultimately be very good for business.
